Istanbul Sufi Ceremonies Ensemble Performs Devrân-ı Şerîf at Cologne Philharmonic Hall

On May 30, 2025, the Istanbul Sufi Ceremonies Ensemble presented Devrân-ı Şerîf at one of Germany’s most prestigious venues, the Cologne Philharmonic Hall. Organized by the HumanSufi Association, the event saw overwhelming demand, with tickets selling out well in advance. With the participation of Ömer Faruk Belviranlı, Director General of Fine Arts, the performance offered the audience an immersive journey into centuries-old Sufi traditions rooted in the Ottoman heritage and the spiritual heart of Istanbul. Faithful to its origins, the ensemble brought the ritual to life with remarkable authenticity, drawing the audience into the mystical ambiance through every movement and note. The hall fell into a contemplative silence as spectators watched in awe—many holding their breath throughout the performance, visibly moved by the sacred rhythm and depth of the experience.
