He was born in Izmir in 1985. He started music at the age of 10 with the oud. He took his first oud lessons from TRT Izmir Radio artist Tunca Yüksel. He completed his undergraduate education in Afyonkarahisar Kocatepe University State Conservatory Classical Turkish Music Department, Basic Sciences Main Art Branch, and his master's degree in Haliç University Conservatory.
