He was born in 1980 in Alaşehir, Manisa (Turkey). He graduated with honors from the Department of Turkish Music Vocal Training at Afyon Kocatepe University State Conservatory in 2005. Having been interested in Turkish classical music since childhood, he began his formal music education with theoretical and solfeggio lessons from TRT artist Nursal Ünsal Birtek. He furthered his training in Classical Turkish Music and Sacred (Religious) Music with notable musicians such as M. Sadreddin Özçimi (Ney artist at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Istanbul Ensemble), Timuçin Çevikoğlu (Vocalist at the Ankara State Turkish Music Choir), Mustafa Doğan Dikmen (Vocalist at Istanbul Radio), and Ahmet Şahin. He participated in Sufi music and Sema (whirling dervish ceremonies) concerts as a kudümzen (frame drum player), bendirzen, and hanende (vocalist) in international programs in cities including Munich (Germany), Vienna (Austria), Prague (Czech Republic), Budapest (Hungary), Ljubljana (Slovenia), Warsaw (Poland), London (United Kingdom), and Athens (Greece). He worked as a guest artist at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Bursa State Classical Turkish Music Choir during the 2008–2009 and 2017–2018 seasons. He performed as hanende and bendirzen in various television programs: İftar Vakti on Olay TV (2010), İftar Vakti on TRT Avaz (2013), Sahûr and İftar with Erkan Aydın on Tivibu (2015–2016), Sahûr Vakti with M. Fatih Çıtlak on Kanal D (2018–2021). He has also served as a music teacher in several private educational institutions. He continues his musical activities actively. He is married and a father of three.
