He was born in 1983 in Istanbul. After completing his primary and secondary education in Istanbul, he was accepted into Sakarya University State Conservatory in 2001, where he studied classical kemençe under the tutelage of Fikret Karakaya. In 2004, he began his studies in the Sound Recording Department of the Music Technologies Division at Istanbul Technical University Turkish Music State Conservatory, where he is still continuing his education. He has shared the stage with notable musicians such as Reha Sağbaş, Sadreddin Özçimi, Fatih Zülfikar, Ahmed Şahin, and Özer Özel. In addition, he has worked in various musical settings with artists including Ersin Çelik (vocalist/hânende), Furkan Resuloğlu (tanbur player), Savaş Özkök (qanun player), Nurullah Kanık (neyzen), Bekir Şahin Baloğlu (oud player), Sâmi Dural (oud player), Bilen Işıktaş (oud player), and Muhammed Ali Turan (vocalist/hânende), and these collaborations continue to this day. He has participated in numerous concert and album projects both in Turkey and abroad, serving as both a performer and producer. In 2018, he joined the Istanbul Sufi Ceremonies Ensemble (İstanbul Meydan Meşkleri Topluluğu), under the General Directorate of Fine Arts of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, as a classical kemenche player and continues to serve in this role.
