Whirling Dervish & Dhakir
He was born in 1997 in Üsküdar, Istanbul. From an early age, he was immersed in both contemporary and traditional musical styles. He completed his education in the fields of music and software development. In 2011, he began his training in Semâ (whirling ceremony). Since then, he has performed as a semazen (whirling dervish), zakir (vocalist), bendirzen (frame drum player), and kudümzen (kettledrum player) in various sacred venues and concert halls—most notably at the Galata Mevlevihanesi and Yenikapı Mevlevihanesi—during Mevlevi ceremonies and Sufi music concerts. He continues to carry out these roles to this day.
